On 13th February 2025, Brian passed away peacefully at Summerfield Residential Home, aged 86 years. Dearly beloved husband of the late Christine, much loved dad of Nigel and Diane, devoted father-in-law of Edna and Richard, proud grandad of Amy (and husband Marc), Emma, Lucy (and husband Stephen), Matthew, William and Daniel and loving great-grandad of Jenson, Harloe and Charlotte. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Friday 21st March at 2:30pm. Donations in memory of Brian would be appreciated to Parkinson’s UK. A collection box will be provided at the service for this purpose or may be made online via the Tributes & Donations page.
On 12th February 2025, peacefully at Elderthorpe Residential Home, Kathleen aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of Christopher and Howard, loving mother-in-law of Sharon and Sandra, devoted gran, great gran and great great gran. The funeral service will take place at St James’ Church, Crossroads on Thursday 6th March at 12 noon followed by a cremation at Oakworth Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations in Kathleen’s memory would be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s society. Collection plates will be provided at the service for this purpose. On 13th February, Ady passed away suddenly with his family and friends by his side at Lancaster Royal Infirmary, aged 43 years. Dearly beloved son of Denis and Maureen, much loved brother of Carmen, Damian and Julian, devoted dad of Theo and a wonderful uncle and nephew. Ady will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends. A celebration of Ady’s life will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Thursday 27th February at 11:30am. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Ady will go towards Theo’s trust fund. On 8th February 2025, peacefully at home, Carol aged 76 years.Beloved wife of John, loving mum of Nick and Sam, dear mother in law of Lucy and Tim, devoted grandma of Luke, Jack, Sion, Emma and Phobe, very dear sister, sister in law , auntie and great auntie.The funeral service and cremation will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Wednesday 26th February at 1.00pm. Passed away peacefully at Airedale General Hospital on 9th February 2025 aged 87 years. A wonderfully loyal wife of Bob, devoted mum of Christopher, Joanne and Tim, adored grandma of Thomas, Joseph, Emily, Alfie, Oliver, Sam and Jack and great grandma of Aurelia. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Wednesday 26th February at 11.30 am. On 8th February 2025, peacefully at Airedale General Hospital, Brian aged 86 years,of Riddlesden. Beloved husband of Val, devoted father, stepfather, father in law, and brother, much loved grandad and great grandad. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Oakworth Crematorium on Friday 7th March at 1.45pm. Will family and friends please assemble at the crematorium chapel.
